Transformational Leadership Blend of Elements
Question: Describe about the Transformational Leadership for the Blend of Elements. Answer: Dalai Lamas style of leadership has been observed as a perfect blend of the elements of the various kinds of theoretical models studied in the literature of leadership worldwide. His leadership style comprises of the elements of a principle centred, compassionate, forgiving, proactive and empowering model that is not only captivating but also peaceful in nature (Benz, 2012). His democratic approach towards the people of Tibet to give them a patient hearing and also his actions of resolving the conflicts with China not through war but by the promotion of peace and welfare makes him truly a practitioner of the model of transformational leadership. This model of leadership is considered quite powerful as these leaders are blessed with a spirit of motivation that drives the organisation or the followers to create a vision and embrace it, incorporate a sense of integrity, accept and be inclusive about the diversity that is concerned with ethnicity, colours, race or religion and come acros s as top notch performers, bringing a magical reform within the enterprise (Eisenbach et al, 2009).
